TourINN-act project investigates how digital innovation and sustainable practices can help companies in the tourism industry to face and overcome the Covid-19 crisis, starting from cross-sectoral cooperation between SMEs, technological partners & other stakeholders. 

The final aim is to boost the uptake of digitalisation and innovation by tourism SMEs through transnational cooperation and capacity building, to implement new organizational models and innovative solutions for the modernization of the tourist experience, improving the fruition of the tourist offer and making SMEs more sustainable and profitable in the medium-long term.

The goal is to create an innovative tourism ecosystem that agrees on models that are globally interoperable. To do this, 60 tourism SMEs will be given the opportunity to obtain a voucher of €10,000 to be spent on innovative, sustainable and digital practices through the presentation of experimental intersectoral projects. The consortium will facilitate the participation of tourism actors in peer learning networks, matchmaking sessions and participation processes for sharing knowledge to develop such projects.
